Modeling yourself after someone else may sound like a great idea, but sometimes people get caught up in the particulars and forget their own strengths and weaknesses. The greatest tip one can receive in the MLM industry is this: Surround yourself with positive people. The purpose of Multi-Level Marketing is to create a network. The purpose of this network is to combine the power of like-minded individuals toward making a sustainable and growing stream of income. If your business network is composed of lazy drunks or inexperienced kids, you will see the results in your bottom line. A group of lazy drunks might not stay in business for more than a few months, while a group of like-minded, ambitious, intelligent business owners may create a lasting venue for success. It’s all in the people you invite into your organization. I will say that again: It is all in the people your invite to become a part of your network.

People will give you numerous MLM tips, and they will espouse the multitudes of ways you can “get rich” by working with such and such company. My advice is to keep it simple. Even if someone doesn’t join your network, hold onto their information. In fact, you should keep everyone’s contact information. A full Rolodex is one of the best ways to combat dry periods in business. Someone who may not have wanted to work with your organization several years ago may be in a different position now. There is nothing wrong with a quick phone call or a quick email inquiring about their status. These sorts of follow-ups and friendly connections are the replenishing waters network marketing. Friends, folks not involved in your business, can still attract new leads to your business.

Face it: Not everyone you meet is going to join your network. It may not be that someone doesn’t believe in your business, it may just be that your business is not right for them. For example, a 65-year-old man might not want to get involved with a business who sells a women’s health supplement. The man probably doesn’t know anything about it, probably doesn’t care, and probably already has his finances worked out and is not interested in starting something new. Does this mean you should throw his card in the trash? Absolutely not! What about his wife? His kids? His other business associates? All of these people are potential additions to your network, and the fact that this gentleman now knows you and respects you is a huge step to receiving a referral to your business based on his personal recommendation.

Regardless of the streams of MLM tips you’ll get from people you know, continue your drive toward excellence and improve your personal marketing and networking skills. Your success will depend on your mindset, your ability to attract leads and your ability to convert your leads into business builders. I had the awesome privilege of having Cedrick Harris as a guest on our call tonight. It was a power packed hour and was full of MLM tips that will take your business to a new level. A powerful MLM tip is that success is not going to happen overnight and you must be willing to stay in the game no matter what. You have to put in your time and be on the learning curve. You are investing the hard work into creating the income you desire for the rest of your life. You will get paid less than what you are worth as first but you are setting yourself up to be paid far more than what you are worth for the rest of your life.

Another MLM tip I got from the call tonight is that this is a business of relationships and connecting regardless of whether you build offline or attract your leads online. No matter what you have to connect with people! The better you get at connecting the more your income will grow. You must take time to really CONNECT and care about people. You have to learn what they are all about first before you dive in and try to recruit them. You must learn to LISTEN.

You have to agree that the best MLM tip is to stay focused on what makes you money. You are only paid for two things in this business…prospecting and recruiting. You have to be making at least 2 hrs a day for nothing but prospecting and recruiting.  You can’t say there is no one to talk to because the reality is that 800,000 people join a network marketing per month!

MLM tip news flash…Of the 800,000 people who join an MLM business every month 98% of them have no idea how to market their business and generate serious income. In fact 9 our of 10 people in network marketing make less than $10 per week! So what if you had a solution for all these people…?

The single most overlooked online marketing secret to success and most important mlm tip I can give you  is getting into action and staying in action…here is what most people do: They get ready to get ready and never make it happen!!!!

I am guilty of getting ready to get ready and I know you are too! We all tend to do it and we especially do it online because there is always something new to learn rather than actually applying what we already know.  I made this video and article to make a point  and offer advice and tips in network marketing success .  The reality is that when you get into action you can do something very quickly online when you get out of the “getting ready to get ready” mode and just take action.

I am very grateful to have massive action takers around me who remind me (or give me ”tips”) all day long  to get out of “processing” and into action. It’s amazing how complicated we can make things when really they can be pretty simple. Writing this blog post and posting my video and emailing my list will take me a total of about 10 minutes, and that is my network marketing tip for you today!
