Traditional marketing is official dead so it’s time to welcome the social era
Last week I wrote a post called “marketing is dead” which was all about an article that the Harvard Business Review published acknowledging that traditional marketing strategies no longer apply. This week another great article was published by HBR explaining that we are in a new era of doing business called the “social era.”
The social era is much more than just the use social media, it’s a complete paradigm shift in how we communicate with and view our customers and audiences. This has huge implications in our marketing and how we go about business all together.
In fact, in this new social era there are a whole new set of rules to follow. As an entrepreneur marketing your business in the social era you simply must live by these rules.
So what is this social era mean to you and your business?
