Women in MLM Can ROCK Out Online!!
As a woman marketing online I have noticed that there are WAY more men created success online than women. That’s all starting to change now. It seems to come so easily to men and for us women, well, it just takes a bit more to have it all flow. I’m not sure why so many women in MLM are not making it happen online but I can say that I have hit some major road blocks along the way that many other women in MLM way have experiences as well.
Here are the 4 Biggest Challenges Women in MLM Will Have to Overcome to Have Success Online..
1) Many women in MLM tell me they are intimidated to create videos and have their voice be heard. When I first got started I felt uncomfortable putting myself out there in the spotlight as a leader online and as someone who could help others market online. I remember when I made my first YouTube Video it was so hard to watch myself on video…but I finally got over that fear of putting myself out there so I could have my message me heard in the world. Here’s a video I made that might help you overcome your fear making YouTube videos. The biggest thing that helped me what just getting into action and not listening to the disempowering self talk in my head. You must remember that you have something unique and valuable to bring to people and there is no one else like you! Connecting with other empowered women online made a huge difference for me.
2) Another challenge I encounted, that many women in MLM face, was the feeling that everything seemed to be moving so fast on the Internet. Just when I thought I had it figured out I learned about something new that I didn’t have time to tackle! Every time I opened my email there seemed to be a new training or video or something from other marketers who always seem to be one step ahead of me. I finally realized that this is the nature of the Internet and we all must do what we can in the 24 hours we all have each day. I just stayed in action and applied what I learned each day. Most importantly I got into a routine and followed a daily method of operation.
3) Another challenge women in MLM may face is talking to much and not spending enough time doing what makes money! I was so focused on m online marketing that I wasn’t picking up the phone to call people back and sign people up in my business who were ready to go. Or when I did call people back I was engaging in far too much small talk rather than being efficient and to the point. So I was missing out on the main point of it all! I was getting so many calls and I wasn’t structuring how to takle them each day. I finally structured my day so that I listened to messages only 2 times per day and I called people back with efficiency and got to the point quickly rather than letting conversations drag on.
4) Lastly I found that I had all this knowledge and skill and not enough time in the day to implement it all. I have many things on my plate at one time and there are certain tasks that take FOREVER online. I finally realized that I must outsource certain mundane tasks that are not the best use of my time…this is an ongoing skill I am acquiring to let go of some of the control and let others take over! If you are going to be the CEO of your own business then doesn’t it make sense pay other people to do the tasks you don’t have time to do? I can give you some great resources for outsourcing your work to others so you have more time for the tasks that grow your business.
Men in MLM go through all these same things but I do know that men and women think very differently and as women we must have balance in our lives. I know for me when the balance is thrown off in the area of health, relationships, business , money then everything seems to go out of balance. It all works together like a tire on a bike…all the spokes must be in place for things to run smoothly. Women in MLM must maintain balance.
As women in MLM we can create massive success with online marketing but we must go at our own pace and not compare our success to others. We also must stay connected to each other and empower each other to stay on course, and we must never, ever give up on our dreams!
